PRAISE THE  LORD! THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR SITE.

 We believe and  preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The bible is the inspired word of God, literally meaning breathed out. The message of Jesus is still saving souls today.  JESUS SAID: “PREACH THE GOSPEL TO ALL THE WORLD, HE THAT BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED THE SAME SHALL BE SAVED.” There has been a question through out the history of time, what is truth? Looking into the scriptures we get a clear view of this question answered.

In John chapter 18:37-38   Pilate asked Jesus what is truth? “John 18:37-38

37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

38 Pilate saith unto him, what is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

This question perhaps has been asked ever since Pilate echoed those words in the judgement hall “what is truth?” So many today of all nation and tongue has been searching for the truth and turning to other religions and beliefs to try and satisfy the void within them. The devil has deceived millions of people in forms of religion that are not biblical truth. What is truth? This is a good question.

Jesus plainly said as follows:

John 5:24 (KJV)
24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Those that would hear the words of Jesus are those that indeed will not be without truth. If we hear and do, you will have everlasting life; but if you refuse to hear we shall be judged. Jesus said: “many are called but few are chosen. This doesn’t mean that there are a certain few that will obtain everlasting life and the rest will be without God. Jesus new not everyone would except truth, but rather live in sin. The gospel which means good news comes to you and you refuse to obey it, right then you were called but refused to be chosen.

John 7:37-39 (KJV)
37   In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The bible says a lot about how we can be saved and delivered from our sinsJesus said to the thief at Calvary “this day shalt thou be with me in paradise and with the holy angels.” This was before his burial and resurrection. Jesus was not yet glorified; therefore he could save that thief on the cross next to him. This was a shifting point in the dispensation from the Mosaic law. For, Jesus saidThink not that I have come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill.Jesus came to be offered as the spotless Lamb of God: the great atonement that would take care of all the sins of the world.  I have heard so many people argue about this passage, saying it just takes confessing the lord as your personal savior, and that is it. Look with me in the scripture.  Jesus said “he that believeth on me as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water,” which we understand He was talking about the Holy Ghost. If we lived prior to the crucifixion and the atonement of our savior, then we would live under the old covenant. The true fact is that the whole bible is the inspired word of God and is our hope for eternal life. The prophet’s prophesied that the redeemer would come to redeem all that would believe in the name of the Lord and obey his word .

Jesus said to search the scriptures.

John 5:39 (KJV)
39 “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The word search means: (through the idea of inquiry); to seek, i.e. (figurative) to investigate: – search. The word testify means: to be a witness, i.e. testify (literal or figurative): charge, give [evidence], bear record, have (obtain, of) good (honest) report, be well reported of, testify, give (have) testimony, (be, bear, give, obtain) witness.

To search is to seek, to investigate. My soul one day is going to spend eternity somewhere either heaven or hell. It is my choice to choose to ignore all that Jesus preached or to accept it. We should desire to search the scriptures about Jesus to see what message He has for us, then you will be in the realm of safety. Jesus said, the scriptures to search, are the scriptures that testify of Him or about Him. Everyone that believes in Jesus would not only hear His teaching, but they would live it, because He is truth. Jesus said, there would be some to try to get something for nothing, referring to a thief and a robber. All that would try to bring some new way or doctrine is the same as a thief and a robber. They don’t want to be obedient to the scripture but completely  ignore what Jesus said. In stead of presenting there bodies a living sacrifice to Him. They rather tell a lie.

John 10:1-13 (KJV)

verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
Then said Jesus unto them again, verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
I am the door: by me if any men enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13   The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

 I want to open my ears to and hear what Jesus said, and not some false teacher. As you have read, there is a door to Jesus and if we enter in by that door, then we are safe. The voice is clear and distinct; nothing about His voice is unclear. The true sheep will not hear another voice, only the voice of truth. The hireling does not care for the sheep, so he teaches everything that makes it easy on the hearer. The churches of today have a lot of hirelings in the pulpit, they really have no care for souls, but it becomes a job they were hired to do. We must preach the only message that was handed down to us by Jesus and the apostles.

Matthew 1:18-23 (KJV)

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us
.

The scripture says that this son shall be called Jesus: “for he shall save his people from their sins”. The scripture says, “And they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” I don’t know about you, but I want to know, that the one I’m serving has the power to forgive sins and save us from our sins. Jesus said to Pilate, “everyone that is of truth hearth my voice”. Jesus is truth therefore we should desire to want truth.

Mary was found of child by the Holy Ghost: (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit: – ghost, life, spirit

This son shall be the savior of the world and His name shall be called Jesus: “for he shall save his people from their sins”. This son shall be called “God with us”. Jesus came to give us a way out of the prison house of sin. There is a way that we can live and by the plan Jesus gave to us, we can have complete salvation.

Isaiah 61:1-2 (KJV)
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Look at the parallel From the Old Testament to the New Testament

 Luke 4:18-20 (KJV)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20
And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

Keep in mind that the prophecy was prophesied centuries prior to Jesus Christ coming on the scene. Jesus opened the bible of that day; He read and proclaimed the power to preach the message of salvation and deliverance. Did He preach to the poor and brokenhearted? Did He give deliverance and heal the blind? Yes he did, and much more did he do.  John the apostle wrote many things Jesus did. “If it was written all that He did the world itself could not contain the books that should be written”. How could Jesus deliver anyone, if he did not have power to forgive sins? Who was He?

John 14:5-6 (KJV)

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Now we have Jesus saying, “I am the truth.” There will never be another way to Jesus than the way He pronounced, this is the only way man can be saved. What do you want? Do you want the doctrine of men that came from man’s own ideology or the doctrine of Jesus? There cannot be any confusion in the message that Jesus Christ preached and what men want to preach for worldly gain. For thousands on years people has been trying to figure out salvation, although, it is as simple has following what Jesus and the apostles preached.

John 14:16-17 (KJV)

16  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Jesus again is saying that He is truth. The world truly cannot receive truth if they have no understanding of the truth; the truth is Jesus Christ. Jesus is willing to be your comforter to day just as He said to the disciples “you know Him; for He dewelledth with you, and shall be in you.” For Jesus is truth and there is no lie of the truth.

Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV)

13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

  Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV)

Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I want you to take notice of the word “many” in verse 13 of Matthew chapter 7: Jesus said, the way that leadeth to destruction, many would go that way, Also in verse 22 of the same chapter Jesus said it again, Many will say to me in that day, “Lord, Lord;” NOTE: This is the confession of people who call themselves Christians. They never actually turn away from iniquity, but they keep doing what they want to do, serving there flesh and having no regard for the truth that Jesus preached, bled and died for. We must follow the bible to its fullest degree; not only choosing what sounds good or tickles our fancy. Confession is from the heart, which is repentance. If a person does not change their mode of direction and they continue living in sin that is not true repentance. Repentance is a change of mind, change of conduct, a conversion, a turning around. If a person confesses they know the Lord but never  turnaround from their old lifestyle then they have not whole heartily repented. So many Christian believers take one passage in the Bible and build a doctrine out of it which is so damaging to their soul.

John 3:16 (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

We must believe on the lord as our personal savior. This is one piece of the puzzle and so many people build a doctrine out of this belief. Take for example, a physical puzzle you buy in the store, maybe you thought it was appealing, maybe the picture drew your attention. I have seen a lot of breath taking puzzles that were put together by someone with a lot of patience. In a box there are hundreds of cardboard pieces with numerous shapes “wow that would be beautiful picture, if I could put that puzzle together.” Here we have it, the puzzle is open and on the table. It looks so over whelming, that the worker of it does not even know where to start. Then, the idea comes to the mind to start with all the edges and build this huge frame where hundreds of pieces of this puzzle will join. This is the same way with our salvation through the Bible; we have to start with the words of Jesus. Hearing and believing on Jesus is everything a person’s life would ever need.  He came to give life and give it more abundantly. Search for the puzzle pieces, until you have formed the beautiful picture that was so appealing to you when you first heard the message of Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)

that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

I want to address that all of the epistles were written to the church, and not to the sinner. The apostle Paul was concerned about the Jews of that day, that they might be saved because, they had a zeal but not according to knowledge. Therefore, Paul was addressing the problem with the Jews that would not confess Jesus as the Christ, the son of the living God.

 Romans 10:1-3 (KJV)

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

There was a deep problem with the Jews of that day, because they did not believe Jesus was the son of God. They were not willing to confess that He was the son of God. Paul’s prayer and desire was for Israel, that they might believe on Jesus the son of God. Jesus was not accepted as the messiah to the Jews in no form whatsoever.

John 9:22 (KJV)
22  These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.  John 12:42 (KJV)
42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

Now you can see why Paul was teaching this to the Romans. In Romans 10:9-10 The Jews did not confess Jesus lest they would be removed from the church. This is why it is so important for us to understand the time and place the apostle was teaching  in and why he was concerned about the Jews of that time. I also, want to submit to you that the apostle Paul said in the same chapter of Romans 10 starting with verse 14 He says in that verse “how shall they hear without a preacher”? Verse 15 “and how shall they Preach expect they be sent”? Then is says how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace.

There was always a physical building they met in to hear preaching. Nowadays people want to listen to a preacher on the internet or television this is not what the Bible says. If you want truth find a preacher who will teach the full gospel, repentance, baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. The Bible says not to forsake the assembly so you have to have a preacher in your life.

Romans 10:14-17 (KJV) 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Only those who have a preacher can rightly hear of Him, and finally, no preacher can preach the true gospel who has not been sent by God. Paul is saying that if God did not send preachers no one could hear, if no one could hear no one could believe, if no one could believe no one could call on the Lord, and if no one could call on Him no one could be saved.

Mark 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.

14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

God calls men to preach, just as he called the twelve disciples, he sent them forth to preach the gospel and not to ever twist the message that Jesus proclaimed. There will never be a man called by God to preach false doctrine. Jesus warned against false prophets that they would come in sheep’s clothing. They would have an outward mask but inward they are vicious subtle beast that would try to seduce people into their belief. What fruit are they bearing? More than ever before, there has got to be carefulness in the voices that you hear in this end time.

Matthew 7:15-20 (KJV)
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The voices that are speaking are not clear sounds and are only heard by those that do not know Jesus in a special way. From the beginning of time until now, there has been many false teachers arise with a new gospel or belief, which is not another gospel, but it is a feel good doctrine. It doesn’t matter if an angel comes down and visit you in your car, house, work place, or your church and tells you another way to be saved. The apostle said “let them be accursed.” I have heard of many different religions profess that they got a revelation from angels and spiritual beings. This is against the word of God. There will never be another way than what the prophets, Jesus and the apostles proclaimed. What makes you believe that you or I can change the bible that is forever, settled in heaven, the psalmist declared the word of God is for ever settled in heaven. The word settle means: pillar, present, rear up, set (over, up) settle, sharpen, stablish, (make to) stand (-ing, still, up, upright), best state. The word was established by God and not man. Don’t ever think that you or any religious group could ever change what God settled.

(Galatians 1:6-9) (KJV)

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The apostle marveled because the people were preaching and teaching another gospel, which was not another, but a perverted message to entice those into the web of their ideology. For over two thousand years ago, there has been a problem with the message of Jesus Christ. The undeniable factor today is false teachers are still twisting and altering the scriptures into their own philosophy. If we are going to believe the bible and the words that have been written, we must understand that the words in it, are none other than God himself.

2 Peter 1:20-21 (KJV)
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Ephesians 2:20 (KJV)
20  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Revelation 21:14 (KJV)
14  And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

These scriptures places great emphasis on the apostles of Jesus Christ for the Holy Ghost moved on all the men who God instructed to write on the parchments. The bible declares from the beginning to the end that the men who lived in righteousness obeyed God. Just like the apostles carried out the will God through their preaching, we must obey and preach the same message they preached. The Bible says that the scripture is of no private interpretation, therefore, the bible is the only book that is truly divine and not hid in a corner, but is accessible for everyone to pick up and read. The author of this Bible is God himself; he is the living word, and the bread of life. The true church is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone.

John 1:1 (KJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John chapter one says the word is God. The spirit of God moved in the darkness of a chaotic situation in the begining of time and spoke the world into existence. This same voice speaks throughout the scriptures how we can be saved. Jesus knows how to take emptiness and darkness and turn it into a place of beauty. Men will never be able to stand before God in that great Day of Judgment, saying that they did not know how to live or do right. We all have a conscience that God put in every man and woman to know right from wrong and by this everyone will know in their heart that there is a God, and there is way that humanity ought to live. Them that want to argue with what the gospel of Jesus Christ is or should be, are those that are contentious and do not obey the truth, but rather obey the will of their flesh.

Romans 2:8-16 (KJV)

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
12  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13  (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14  For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15  Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

 The grace of God is that we can be saved, not a continuance in sin, but deliverance from sin. The Bible is clear about the separation from the world and the sin that is in it. Noah found grace in the eyes of God. God told Noah to build an ark to for the saving of his house, and the whole world from the flood of waters. If the old world wanted to be saved. God gave the old world over 80 years to prepare for the flood.  God destroyed all he created both men and women. There was a plan that the Lord was specific in giving to Noah for the saving of his house. What if Noah did not follow the plan of God? Would he and his family have been saved? Absolutely not he had to follow God’s way. That was grace. The same way if we don’t follow Gods plan in the Bible we will be lost. Remember there is only one way to God there is not many roads to God; don’t be deceived by the false teachers of today.

Titus 2:11-12 (KJV)
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

The God of the Old Testament is the God of the New Testament. Throughout time there has been many people who have been led astray by false teachers and preachers. The Bible says we will be judged at the end of time. Everyone who has not obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ: will be separated from his glorious heaven.

II Thessalonians 1:7-9 (KJV) And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus ChristWho shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) 12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

The word “way” gives the meaning: A course of life or mode of action.  The word “right” means to be convenient, pleased well, just, or meet. If you are pleased with your mode of action, I urge you to make sure you are on the path Jesus Christ taught, that would lead us to life eternal. The direction millions are heading is the path of their own destruction.

John 3:1-5 (KJV) 1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Unless you are born of the water and the spirit you cannot enter into the kingdom of God, not only you cannot enter, but cannot see. We must be baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ; because he is the one that shed is blood for you. You must be filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

Mark 16:16 (KJV)
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Mark 16:17 (KJV)
17  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Luke 24:47 (KJV)
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

The signs shall follow the true believers. Jesus said in my name you shall speak with tongues. Only by and through the power of God will anyone speak with tongues. Why would people say that tongues is not of God? I will tell you why, because it it easier to make a confession with your mouth than to truly be overtaken by Gods spirit, which is the Holy Ghost. God chose to use the tongue to show is miraculous power because the tongue no one can tame. The tongue is an unruly member who can tame it, is what the apostle James said. Jesus commissioned the disciples to preach repentance, baptism and the Holy Ghost. This is exactly what they did through the power of the Holy Ghost.

What is Truth?

John 17:17-20 (KJV)

17 sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world?

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Jesus is praying for his disciples, and he said “sanctify them through thy truth thy word is truth”. What did John 1:1 say? “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. The word is truth because the word is God, and all that it in the Bible is truth. Jesus prayed also, that through the disciple’s word people would believe on him, and that is on Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 2:3 (KJV)
 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

If you were sick with an incurable disease, and there was no one able to help you, you would feel despair and defeat. What if a man came to you and offered you a remedy for your disease after many years of no hope, what would do? Would you ask for the remedy or would you neglect the offer and just stay in your situation? I believe every person who faced such a tragedy would accept the offer. My point I want to bring up is, the Bible says in the preceding verse, “how shall we escape if we neglect so great of salvation”. If you neglect the remedy to the sin problem in your life it is as the story of the incurable disease, you will die without God if you do not accept the cure for your soul.

Hebrews 5:9 (KJV)
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

 Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;

Jesus which was and which is and is to come the one that is perfect in all things. He became the author of eternal salvation to all that obey. The great author knows the beginning from the end and has given us all things that pertain to life. Salvation comes from God and he alone knows what it takes for us to be saved. Jesus commission the apostle to preach repentance and remission of sins in his name in Matt 28:19, Mark 16:15-16 and Luke 24:47. When Jesus asked his disciples, who do men say I am? peter said that Jesus was the son of God. Then Jesus said to peter, I am giving you Peter the keys to the kingdom. After Jesus died and rose from the dead the third day, he was seen of his disciples forty days, and talking with them he commanded that they depart not from Jerusalem, but he told them to wait for the promise that was to come. The disciples went into an upper room with marry the mother of Jesus and the others and prayed until the promise came.

  Acts 2:1-4 (KJV)
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The power that Jesus spoke of that would clothe those believers at Pentecost and all that would believe on him through the apostle word we see in the boob of Acts. The spirit came on them as of a rushing mighty wind, which is what Jesus preached to Nicodemus. The wind blows, there is a sound, and has an effect, so is everyone that is born of the spirit. There is an outward manifestation of Gods spirit that will be seen, heard, and felt.

Acts 2:38 (KJV)
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

What does it mean to repent?

Peter was the one that was given the keys to the kingdom and he was the first one to preach the full gospel after Jesus commanded them. Peter preached to all that was there at the day of Pentecostal that they crucified the lord and by wicked hands have killed him, but God raised him up to be a prince and a savior. Those that herd these words were pricked in their heart and said what do we do? Peter preached for them to repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus and you will be filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost.  Repentance is a change of heart and conduct. You have not truly repented of your sins if you are living in sin.

Acts 4:12 (KJV)
12 neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Peter and John were brought forth to the high priest and magistrates after the miracle of the lame man that was laid daily at the gate of the temple. They were asked by what power or by what name did they heal this man? Their response was that through the name of Jesus of Nazareth the man was made whole. Then, Peter said “neither is there salvation in any other name under heaven given among men , whereby we must be saved”. By this name which is Jesus, we are saved is what he said.

 Acts 5:29-32 (KJV)
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Jesus said many would believe on him through the apostle’s words. So here we have it, Peter and the other apostles are preaching to all the hierarchies of that day, “we are going to obey God rather than man.” The high priest commanded them that the apostles were not to teach in the name of Jesus. The apostles listen to the voice of Jesus who told them preach repentance and remission of sins in my name among all nations, instead of listening to the crowds. The apostles were command to preach the things concerning the kingdom of God. God gives the Holy Ghost to all that obey him, not just a select few. What did Jesus preach? Water and spirit is what he preached and the apostles preached the same message. Those that are born again of the water and the spirit there will be a sound of the spirit when it is of God.

Acts 8:12-19 (KJV)
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

 The people believed the message that Philip preached about the kingdom of God and Jesus Christ. They were baptized after hearing the message Philip preached. These people believed the words of Jesus because they done exactly what Jesus said. You must be born of the water and the spirit. What did Simon see? Why would he offer the apostle money for the power of the Holy Ghost that came on them they prayed for? He saw an outward manifestation of Gods spirit through the laying on of hands. I would not offer you one red cent for someone just confessing the Lord and their personal savior. Simon would tell you what he saw was the power of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, that is what he witnessed.

Acts 8:29-38 (KJV)
29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
31 And he said, how can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
32   The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
33  In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Philip preached Jesus unto the eunuch and as they came near water the eunuch said, here is water what stands in my way to be baptized. Then they both went down into the water and Philip baptized the eunuch. Here again we have water baptism Jesus preached  and carried out by the apostle Philip. He not only preached to believe on the Lord and your savior but to be baptized as well.

Acts 10:1-6 (KJV)
  There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

 Cornelius was a good righteous man and served God with all his heart. But something was missing, he believed on the Lord and his savior, because the bible says he prayed always and gave alms, but the Lord showed him that there was more for him to do. Peter was going to be the one to show him a more perfect way. The message to Cornelius was this preacher is my man and he will tell you what you must do to be saved. Peter preached to Cornelius’s entire house, and while he was preaching the Holy Ghost fell on all them which believed.

Acts 10:44-48 (KJV)
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

 Cornelius’s house not only believed but they were baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. For the apostles heard the sound of that wind Jesus spoke about once again. I thought Cornelius’s was saved? The Lord told him that Peter would tell him what he ought to do. What they had to do was be baptized in Jesus name, because it is in that name the blood is applied for the forgiveness of sins; and they spoke in other tongues. This is God’s gift to man, but people say it is only for certain people. The Bible says the Holy Ghost is given to all those that obey Jesus.

Acts 19:1-6 (KJV)
 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, we have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
And he said unto them, unto what then was ye baptized? And they said Unto John’s baptism.
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

 Paul found disciples that were of no doubt true believers. But the question is asked have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? The disciples response was that they never heard about it. Paul asked how they were baptized and then he re baptized them because they where baptized only unto repentance or confession. Paul  baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and then he laid his hands on them and they were filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

In conclusion the bible says to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. There is no other way to be saved except through the name of Jesus. We must obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
